Gloucester Maritime Heritage Center

Yesterday we went to the Gloucester Maritime Heritage Center. There were exhibits about whale songs and boats. There was also a touch tank and aquarium.

This is Joseph and me looking at the cobble habitat.

This is John holding a blue lobster.

This is me holding a crab.

These are spider crabs in a tank called the catch of the day tank. This is where the fishermen dropped off what they caught so the museum staff could see if they were healthy before they sorted them into different habitats.

This fish is a sea raven.

After we saw the aquarium we went to a place were you could play. There were boats and houses. It overlooked a room where people were building real boats.

This is us making a rope.

After we made a rope we went to the docks to see the boats. There also were lobster and crab traps.
