The subway was packed full of people. We went on the red line to get to the first site.
The first site we visited was the Massachusetts State House. The state house was designed by Charles Bulfinch. It was completed on January 11, 1798.
Next we went to the Granary Burying grounds. Some think as many as 8,000 people were buried there.
After that we went to Kings Chapel and burying grounds. The Royal Governor had to build the chapel on the burying grounds. Then we went to the Old South meeting house.This was were they discussed the Boston Tea party.
Then we went to the Boston massacre site. The redcoats shot a group of citizens protesting. Five men were killed and several others wounded.
Next we went to Faneuil Hall. It was christened the cradle of liberty.
After that we went to get Mikes Pastry. I got a strawberry cannoli. We had a picnic on the greenway.
Then we went to the Holocaust memorial. It was made in remembrance of the Jews that died in the concentration camps.
After that we went to Westgate to play a little before we went to the Dionnes'.
