The Chan Family Visit

Last Wednesday the Chans came to visit. The Chans are Uncle Dan, Aunt Carolyn, Michael, David, Douglas, and Popo (my grandmother).






























On the second day the Chans were here John and I drew faces on our balloons and made it look like the balloons were our heads.












On the third day the Chans were here we went whale watching.


























We saw two kinds of whales: a fin whale and a humpback whale(The top two are fin whales, the bottom two are humpback whales). The fin whale is the second largest animal in the world. It can grow up to 75 feet.

While the Chans were here, we spent a lot of time at the beach. We made a sand castle with islands near it. We dug a gigantic hole in the sand. It was at least 4 feet wide and tall enough so that when we sat down the wind could not get us. One evening Uncle Dan drew a giant maze for us to walk through.
